Please allow a few days for someone to make contact with you as almost all of our instructors work full-time careers in the firefighter and medical field.
Apprenticeship Application
Thank you for your interest in the Black Wake Rescue Instructor Apprenticeship Program. This voluntary, unpaid program is designed to provide aspiring instructors with hands-on training, mentorship, and practical experience in emergency services education.
Please complete all sections of the application thoroughly and accurately. All information provided will remain confidential and will be used solely to evaluate candidates for the program.
The apprenticeship serves as an evaluation period during which candidates develop instructional skills while being assessed on their professionalism, leadership, reliability, and commitment to the mission of Black Wake Rescue. Successful completion of the apprenticeship is required before becoming a Black Wake Rescue instructor; however, completion of the program does not guarantee an instructor position.
